Morelune exists to answer one question well: which software actually fits your medical practice?

Why this site exists

Choosing practice software is one of the most consequential operational decisions a clinic makes. The system you pick will touch scheduling, billing, patient records, and staff workflows every single day — and switching later is painful and expensive. Yet most of the information available online is either vendor marketing or thin listicles that recycle the same feature bullet points without explaining who each product is actually for.

We started Morelune to fill that gap: practical, plain-English buying guides written for the people who actually run clinics and doctor offices — practice managers, office administrators, and physicians in small and independent practices — not for enterprise IT departments.

How we research

Every comparison we publish follows the same process:

1. Define the buyer. A solo therapist, a three-physician family practice, and a community hospital have completely different needs. Each guide is explicit about which practice types it is written for.
2. Compare on consistent criteria. We evaluate products on core features, ease of use, pricing model, support, and fit by practice size — using vendor documentation, published pricing, product demos, and aggregated user feedback from established review platforms.
3. Say what we don't know. Many healthcare vendors use quote-based pricing. When exact figures aren't public, we say so instead of guessing.
4. Date and update. Every article shows its publication date and, when revised, its last update date.

What we will never do

• Give medical, legal, or compliance advice — we review software, nothing more
• Let advertisers or commissions decide our rankings or recommendations
• Publish content we haven't researched ourselves
